The objective is to promote the quality of life of employees and contribute to improving the organizational climate.
It provides support to employees who are going through difficult times, whether related to family, financial, professional or health matters.
The initiative involves referring the employee to someone who can help, and accompanying them until a solution is found and they are able to get back on their feet and become independent again.
WTorre goes beyond merely complying with the legislation; it provides technical and professional apprenticeship for young people in situations of social vulnerability, who are selected and trained by partner entities to work in administrative areas, or on site.
Once the apprenticeship is complete, the young people are given the opportunity to continue at WTorre.
Through this program, WTorre contributes to the educational qualification of professionals who work in the civil construction market, by helping employees considered functionally illiterate to improve their level of education. The program identifies those interested, and enables them to take classes in Portuguese, math, and natural sciences. Classes are held at the construction site itself.
The course lasts one year and may be extended. At the end, the students take tests and receive a certificate.
WTorre promotes and encourages reading among employees and service providers of the company.
Its book collection includes more than 600 works of different genres, such as action, romance, adventure, technical and others. The Book Club is designed for professionals working at the central office and at the construction site. Books can be taken out on loan to read at home.
